Precisely on 7th November 2021, by 10am, His Highness the Emir of Kabin Argungu unveiled and confirmed the Titles on Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan as Ganuwan Argungu, while Cheif Orji Ozu Kalu confirmed with Kibiyan Kabin Argungu.
Evidently, Ganuwa means a security cover, meaning Ahmed Lawan has been a security protective cover to the good people of Argungu Emirate, this can be connected to many Argungu Emirates that have been assisted in one way or the other by the Senate President.
While Orji Kalu who bagged the Kibiya, kibiya means an instrument which a hunter or warrior can use as a tool to kill an animal for social or domestic usage.
Orji Kalu has over the decades maintain good relationship with most of the Northern Emirates like Daura, Sokoto, Zazzau, Bauchi etc. Recently he was turbaned in Daura Emirate.
However, this relationship Orji Ozu Kalu has with Northern Emirates can be connected to political reasons because he has an ambition to become President, and for that, keeping in touch with not only North but the Emirates is paramount to achieving that.
