Kwara State was agog as prominent traditional rulers stormed in the state to witness and prayed for chief Tajudeen Owoyemi who was installed as the new Asiwaju of Offa in Kwara, the Turbaning ceremony took place on 16 October, 2021.

Among the dignitaries and personalities from different parts of Nigeria and beyond that converged on the palace of the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Mufatau Gbadamosi Okikiola
Some of the prominent traditional rulers who were present are Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikateland Oba Omogbolahan Lawal, the Oniru of Iruland, both were from Lagos Alhaji Mohammed Kudu the Emir of Lafiagi in Kwara State and lot more….
Also the wife of the new Asiwaju of Offa Alhaja Rihanatu was as the Yeye Asiwaju of Offa.
The new Asiwaju of Offa is the Chairman of Avalon Intercontinental Nigeria Limited, which owns and operates a chain of International 5-Star hotels across and outside Nigeria
Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq said the recognition highlights his excellent contributions to the growth of not just his community but the state as a whole.
