Abubakar Sadiq Mohd

The Emir of Zazzau Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR has tasked the newly turbaned Sa’in Zazzau to be just and fair while discharging his responsibility as representative of the Emirate. He gave the task while turbaning him as the new Sa’i of Zazzau at a befitting ceremony held at Emir’s palace in Zaria. Mallam Ahmed Bamalli said the Emirate decided to elevate him from the title of Barade to the Sa’in Zazzau based on his continued loyalty, obedience and character which has made him stand tall among others.

He said the Emirate is aware of his good track records of achievements in all places he worked and is very proud of his sterling qualities of stewardship. The Emir therefore urged him not to relent in being a good ambassador of the emirate and continue to demonstrate good attributes to make the emirate proud.

The Emir of Zazzau however emphasized on him to serve as bridge builder as he assumes duty as Sa’in Zazzau, stressing that Unity, Obedience, Patient and Respect for all shall be his watch words. He also appealed to him to use his good position towards ensuring rapid development and progress of the Emirate.

The Emir cautioned him against deviating from norms, culture and traditions of people in the Zazzau, tasking him to continue to uphold the traditional Institute and exhibit high sense of royalty both in appearance and attitude wherever he finds himself.

Bamalli also emphasized the need to always consider Zazzau first as whatever he does will reflect back on the emirate either negativity or positively. The Emir appreciated all those that graced the turbaning ceremony from far and near especially the State Minister on Education, Alhaji Yusuf Sununu who found time to attend the occasion in person.
