The Late Walin Zaz’zau, Engr. Aminu Umar having came from Barebari Ruling Clan of Zaz’zau Emirate, was a Prince, also a District Head of Ikara Local Government of Kaduna State, who enjoyed full loyalty, love and interaction from his subjects that described him as a “Down to earth and Peace Loving Prince”
The Late Walin Zaz’zau succeeded late Immigration Boss, Walin Zaz’zau lawal Sambo, who passed away in 2011, also from Bare Bari Ruling Clan, who occupied the stool since late 1970’s, appointed by the Late Emir of Zaz’zau, Alh. Shehu Idris.
As history and many records have, 3rd day of the demise of any Traditional leader used to be the day of replacement, if everything goes well with the selection process supervised by the Emir.
The stool of Wali is strategic and needs carefulness before the selection of who ever Allah chooses. But may likely come from the same Bare Bari Ruling Clan.
