Imo State monarch, Eze Ralph Ekezie of Obor community in Umutanze, Orlu Local Government Area, along side many houses, vehicles burnt by gunmen that invaded the locality.
Royalty Magazine gathered the extracted breaking news via Vanguard National Dailies.
The monarch and his family were not captured by the gunmen when the attack was lunched. It was stated that the Obor community has been terrorised by the hoodlums recently.
According to eyewitness in the community “the hoodlums came with cars and were shooting sporadically.
The eye witness stated “We are very lucky our traditional ruler and his family escaped, if not, the gunmen would have killed them”
During the attack, many houses and valuables were lost, the Personal Assistant to the escaped Monarch, Mr. Gozie Nwagba was among the victims that lost house.
