Reconfirming their allegiance to the detained Alh. Aminu Idris Yaro as the Sarkin Hausawan Lagos and Chairman Arewa Council of Chiefs,Arewa Council of Chiefs in Lagos re affirms their loyalty and commitment to Alh. Aminu Yaro.
Onu of Igala and Secretary of Arewa Council of Chiefs in Lagos State briefed the media on their stands and status quo regarding the led Aminu Yaro traditional institution in Lagos, confirming to the media that on behalf of the Arewa Council of Chiefs, none of them is condemning the legal process being handled by federal government regarding the continual detention of their leader, the Sarkin Hausawan Lagos, but all they are saying is that “let justice be done, let the legal process be prevailed and government should abide by the court order which granted him bail since”
All 19 Northern States residing in Lagos were represented at the news brief at Onu of Igala Palace in Lagos.
Some of the attendees were Sultan of Shua Arab, Galadiman Fulani Community of Lagos, the Wakilin Nupe, Mai Kanuri of Lagos and host of others.
The council called on the general public to desist from diverting people’s attention on who led Lagos Arewa Community.
For over 200 years, the family chain of Alh. Aminu Idris Yaro, Sarkin Hausawan Lagos has been visible, idenfiable and recognized in Lagos, South Western Nigeria.
