A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, after living University he was employed by Northern Regional Government where he served in various sectors across the zones.
After the regional government, the late Waziri was appointed Excecutive Secretary in Federal Capital Development Authority in the year 1981, with a role of preparing Abuja for the Lagos sitting government to move. It was during his watch, FCDA moved from Suleja to Garki.
Became Secretary To the Government of Federation SGF between 1990 – 1993 during Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
Unfortunately the late Waziri died in car accident in November 1997.
