It has been the tradition of Olusegun Obasanjo to visit Zazzau Palace when ever he gets opportunity. He visited the Emir on 16th March for a personal reason.
Obasanjo became so much close to the Palace since 1975 when the late Emir of Zazzau, Alh. Dr. Shehu Idris became Emir, as at that time Obasanjo was also a Military head of State.
